A tile drafting and placement game called "Aqua" that grows coral reefs and expands habitats for various creatures, available in multiple languages including Japanese.
In "Aqua," players cultivate their coral reefs and arrange hexagonal "habitats" composed of corals of the same color.
Habitat placement involves adding suitable small animals to create ecosystems.
Additionally, when corals form a "coral reef" with four or more groups, points are scored for adjacent small animals.
Furthermore, by stacking large animals that prey on these small animals according to specific conditions, players develop coral reefs rich in biodiversity.
At the end of 17 rounds, the player with the highest score wins.
However, since scoring conditions are diverse, the game encourages cultivating coral reefs with consideration for natural diversity, despite its simple system.
The game also offers various play modes, including a family game with simplified conditions, an advanced game with more difficult tile conditions, rules for solo play, and various achievement challenges, making it highly replayable.
Its beautiful artwork is also a major attraction.
