■ What is 'Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon Chronicles'
A package that includes two titles from the 'Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon' series, which expresses a nostalgic yet new graphic style in 8-bit aesthetic, in a 2D side-scrolling action game.
Players control the protagonist 'Zangetsu', an eastern exorcist who hates demons and alchemy, as he challenges a demon castle filled with monsters.
As Zangetsu meets various characters in the story, the playable characters increase. Switching between multiple characters and utilizing their unique traits is key to progressing.
Additionally, this series features an epic story supervised by Takashi Igarashi, composed of multiple scenarios.
*The first game, 'Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon', is an 8-bit style title promised during the 2015 Kickstarter 'Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night'.

■ Story
Once, there was a man cursed by demons and affected by the moon.
That man, 'Zangetsu',
Wearing a crimson flame garment and with fiery eyes, traveled from darkness to darkness to defeat the demon who cursed him and to destroy all demons...
One night, the man sensed the presence of a great demon.
Destroy all demons...
Under the dark moonlight, the man brandishes his sword.
At the same time, the church, foreseeing the appearance of the 'Magic Tower', dispatches an exorcist to his location.
The church's apostle 'Dominique'
Knowing Zangetsu, she hurriedly ran through the night to meet him, harboring her own secret motives...

Characters that Zangetsu meets in the story can be switched out at any time once they join.
Each ally has their own unique attack actions and individual health, so having more allies makes battles easier.
In 'Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon', how you deal with allies like 'Miriam', 'Alfred', and 'Gebel' affects the difficulty, gameplay volume, and even the story's ending.
In 'Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2', new characters including the church exorcists 'Dominique', 'Robert', and 'Hachi' are added, and playable characters from the previous game can also be used.

By effectively using the unique actions of allies, you can significantly shorten stages.
