One of the reasons Morisaka Global is so unique and different from other Japanese plushie companies is the great fan community that the brand has nurtured.

Q1: Tell us why you started collecting Morisaka Global plushies:
I've always been a huge fan of plushies. I think it's some years ago that I first saw the then Shinada Global otters and I fell in love and really wanted one! Loved their unique and soft and squishy look. I didn't get one though, as they were no where to be found in EU, and import from outside EU is scary because it can take really long and be very costly, so I've always tried to avoid that.
In november 2023 I then found discowaffle in UK where they sold the Morisakas, and I ordered a large beige shiba inu from there. I then joined a group for Morisaka collectors on facebok and through here I found a friend who also lives in Denmark, and she sold me a small black shiba who arrived first - so that one was my very first! Some days later, the large one from UK arrived - and my new addiction had been started!
I was introduced to Zenplus by this friend from the facebook group. At first I was skeptical because Japan is very far away, but the prices are amazing, custom and toll fees are prepaid and shipping only takes like 2-3 from it leaves Japan till it reaches Denmark! So I was instantly hooked and now I have 22 of them, with 4 more on the way!
Q2: Tell us any specific experiences or memories with your favorite Morisaka Global plushie that you are especially fond of.
Any moment where a new one arrives! Unwrapping them, seeing them and holding them for the first time is always unique and exciting!
Q3: Tell us any stories if Morisaka Global plushies have been more than just plushies - if they bring comfort or provide emotional support.
I mean, just looking at them can make you happy! Holding them even more so. I use mine for pictures, which brings me lots of joy and peace of mind. They're very photogenic ;) Otherwise they're sitting on a shelf, looking adorable. I want to keep them in prime condition, so I don't really use them for cuddling.

Just that they're absolutely precious. I hope Morisaka Global will keep making more and coming up with new animals and designs. Personally, I would love a chihuahua, a pug and a mouse! Maybe something to consider for the future :D

I brought my yellow otter over to my boyfriend's house and we made him dance to music and it was very silly.

My yellow otter has become my movie/tv show watching companion, he is the perfect little guy. Makes me happy just to look at him.

I was in a elevator on a trip and my bags were in there but as I was going to push my kids in with me the elevator was going to shut but the Sakura’s head stopped it from going down and saved my bags from almost being stolen🤣🤦🏻♀️

i adore the morisaka shinada global plushies! I have a fairly large collection. I suffer with extreme depression and anxiety and i feel comforted and zen when i cuddle these plushies. The fabric is so incredibly soft and i cannot express how gorgeous and well made they are! My favorite is my pig, Sir VonPork.

I get so much comfort and a grounding effect I get from squishing these cuties! It really helps my get through some hard times in my mental health struggles.
