● Miho Hazama has been active worldwide based in New York as a jazz composer since her major debut in 2012. Her achievements are truly remarkable, including serving as Principal Conductor of the Danish Radio Big Band (DRBB) and Permanent Guest Conductor of the prestigious Metropole Orkest in the Netherlands. In 2021, she released the original album "Imaginary Visions" with DRBB, and in November 2022, she successfully led DRBB on a tour of Japan.
● The core of Hazama's activities is her 13-member jazz chamber orchestra "m_unit," which includes French horn and strings. Its charm lies in its gorgeous and nuanced sound, which differs from typical big bands.
● This work is the 4th installment from m_unit, released 5 years after "Dancer in Nowhere," which was nominated for Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album at the 62nd Grammy Awards. It consists of original compositions by Miho Hazama, with the exception of one song (Earth, Wind & Fire's "Can't Hide Love").
