In December 2021, Hideki Kuriyama was appointed manager of the Japanese national baseball team, Samurai Japan's top team. The manager, who loves baseball and his players more than anyone, began dedicating his entire passionate soul towards the "2023 WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC™" held in March 2023.
