Takashima, a 41-year-old manager who has lived arrogantly, is fired from his company due to restructuring.
Abandoned by his wife, losing his fortune, and unable to find re-employment, he impulsively throws himself from an overpass, but falls into the open-top car driven by Misawa, a casino dealer, and survives.
Takashima, who becomes the partner of the cheating dealer Misawa, eventually learns of his own mistakes and sins, and also notices the darkness in Misawa's heart.
A story of repentance, forgiveness, and regeneration of wounded men.
