＊Attention Beatles collectors: This is the latest compilation of rare recordings! It features numerous versions and session outtakes remixed and remastered with the latest technology. These upgraded recordings have been reconstructed from the original mono sources through multi-track analysis and modern restoration editing, transforming them into true stereo. Additionally, noise reduction and balance adjustments have been applied, resulting in a compilation that not only offers stereo versions where only mono existed before, but also improved sound quality.
For early singles like "Love Me Do" and "She Loves You," which lack stereo masters, the stereo versions included here are fully separated, unlike previous pseudo-stereo versions. The "BASIC TRACKS" indicated for each song are recordings before overdubs were added; "SINGLE VOCAL TRACKS" are raw vocal recordings before double-tracking or chorus layers; "NO ADT" indicates versions without Artificial Double Tracking (ADT), i.e., raw vocal takes. These sources are known among enthusiasts as "MINUS ONE" tracks, but through further multi-track analysis and restoration, they are presented here in stereo for the first time.
Some tracks, such as takes previously included in "Anthology" or mono versions of "Revolution" chorus, are also making their stereo debut. Volume 1 (CDs 1 & 2) and Volume 2 (CD 1) are arranged mostly in chronological order, with Volume 2 (CD 2) including additional extra tracks. This four-disc collector's edition is the latest DAP compilation, highly anticipated by enthusiasts.
