* 100% Indigo (Indigofera tinctoria leaf). This is a powder that dyes hair blue. Please use it as an option for Be Henna Color & Treatment.* You can adjust the henna color by layering it over henna-dyed hair to suppress the red tones of henna, or by mixing it into the henna paste to create brown tones.* Dissolve in hot water to make a paste (3 to 3.5 parts hot water to 1 part powder). If adding the powder directly to Be Henna Color & Treatment, adjust the paste consistency with hot water.* Indigo's color development decreases when dissolved in water, so use the paste immediately after preparation.* Indigo develops color over 24-48 hours when exposed to moisture and air. It may appear greenish immediately after rinsing, but the color will stabilize in about two days.* Store any remaining powder in the aluminum pouch, sealing it tightly to prevent air exposure.
