- Hand-picked. After harvesting, the olives are pressed within 24 hours, then undergo centrifugation and clarification before bottling.
History of Barbera:
The history dates back to 1894, when the Barbera brothers established a farm on their land in Palermo Prefecture for cultivating citrus and olives. Soon after, Barbera's olive oil gained international recognition, receiving its first gold medals at the 1900 Paris Expo and the 1909 St. Louis Expo. The current owner, Manfredi Barbera Jr., inherits the founder's philosophy and produces high-quality extra virgin olive oil using carefully selected olives.
