The director's passion has been transmitted, and after years of effort, this work has been realized. The lead role is played by Sakura Ando, who won the Best Supporting Actress award at the 46th Japan Academy Prize. The two leading figures who drive the Japanese film industry team up for the first time, creating bold and dynamic visuals on screen. Additionally, Ryosuke Yamada plays Joe, the brother of the protagonist Neri, portrayed by Ando Sakura. Having appeared in director Harada’s film 『Moeyo Ken』, he demonstrates a new dimension with a passionate performance.
And the music is composed by Reiko Tsuchiya, a multi-instrumentalist who has become an indispensable composer for Harada’s films, including 『The Crimes of the Prosecutor』, 『Moeyo Ken』, and 『Herdogs』. The main theme features the beautiful yet poignant Sonata and Partita for Unaccompanied Violin by J.S. Bach, with music filled with joy, sorrow, and a sense of liberation, perfectly synchronized with the visuals.
