Ijime, Dame, Zettai The legendary concert announcing the birth of the new BABYMETAL and the start of a new chapter After over a year of live activity suspension since October 2021, the revival concert "BABYMETAL RETURNS -THE OTHER ONE -" held at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in January this year marked the conclusion of BABYMETAL's other story and restoration plan "THE OTHER ONE". The new BABYMETAL was born with SU-METAL, MOAMETAL, and MOMOMETAL in a three-person system. Moving to a new world called "METALVERSE," a new chapter was announced. The concert, which drew about 20,000 fans filled with anticipation and excitement over two days, became a milestone live event where "everything ends, and everything begins" for BABYMETAL. From the "BLACK NIGHT" on April 1 (Saturday), the performance included the live debut of five new songs ("MAYA," "Mirror Mirror," "Time Wave," "Believing," "METALIZM") from the concept album "THE OTHER ONE" released in March. The performance of "KARATE," featuring a different trio of new life forms that appeared at the Makuhari Messe concert in January, and the mystery resolution of the final stage of the "THE OTHER ONE" restoration plan were also included. The ending story movie of the live revealed the eternal farewell to the BABYMETAL seen so far, and the birth of the new BABYMETAL summoned by the metal god, the Fox God. The first live as the new BABYMETAL on April 2 (Sunday), "CLEAR NIGHT," included the grand opening with MOMOMETAL seated on the third throne, which was empty at the start of the January Makuhari Messe performance, and the appearance of BABYMETAL dressed in brightly shining battle suits, stepping into a new realm with a new look. The performance of "Nanjya Korya!?"—a song performed for the first time since the Tokyo Dome concert on September 19, 2016—"Iine!," "Light and Darkness," and "Monochrome," with the audience holding up smartphone lights in a beautiful performance, and the original version of the fan-favorite "BABYMETAL DEATH" with even more brutal heaviness, marked the complete revival. The concert provided an emotionally moving experience with vivid visuals, inspiring hope and expectations for the new journey of the new BABYMETAL. The video products will be released as a limited edition Blu-ray with an analog-sized jacket, a standard Blu-ray, a standard DVD, and a live sound source on vinyl as general commercial releases. To represent the two different days, DAY-1 "BLACK NIGHT" and DAY-2 "CLEAR NIGHT," the Blu-ray and DVD will be two-disc sets, and the live vinyl will be divided into two titles, containing all 28 performances of the worldwide standard passionate performance.
