Starring Koji Yamano and directed by Michihito Fujii, this story is set in Japan during the Reiwa era, a time when moral hazards are long discussed not only among politicians, bureaucrats, and large corporations—those with wealth and power—but also among ordinary citizens. It depicts the bold and exhilarating activities of an enigmatic, outside-the-law group called Avalanche (meaning "avalanche" or "snow slide").
This is a mystery-filled, picaresque entertainment featuring a cast of star-level actors that will excite Japan in the Reiwa era!
◆ Story
"A leader of a new large-scale urban development project in Tokyo mysteriously disappears." Amidst reports of this news, Eisuke Saijo (Sota Fukushi), who was transferred from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's First Investigation Division, visits a new assignment location in a basement nobody approaches.
Beyond a door labeled "Special Crime Countermeasures Planning Office," he finds only the director, Michiyo Yamamori (Yoshino Kimura). Unsure of what kind of work he will do here, Saijo is ordered by Yamamori to escort her by car to a certain mixed-use building.
There, gathered are Seichi Habu (Koji Yamano), Daisuke Makihara (Yudai Chiba), Rina Akashi (Maryjun Takahashi), and Tetsuji Uchimoto (Yoji Tanaka).
"Everyone's here. Let's get started," Yamamori says. The screen then shows news of the aforementioned disappearance case.
