Her first original album in approximately 3 years! Asako Toki, a singer who is celebrating her 20th solo debut anniversary this year and has been actively engaged in various activities such as releasing a best-of album, holding a live tour, and collaborating with various artists, will release her original album "Lonely Ghost," her first in approximately 3 years.
She has teamed up with sound producer Yo Tomi for the first time in about 5 years, and they have produced all the songs on the album together.
The album expresses the subtle sense of unease hidden in everyday life and the inexplicable things encountered in daily living, referring to them as "mysteries." The peculiar and strange human life, constantly oscillating between fiction and non-fiction, is depicted in a way that is both exhilaratingly lonely and sparkling.
After reflecting on her 20 years in music with her best-of album released in April, she boldly and lightly takes a new step into her 21st year with this original album. A tour will also be held in three cities – Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka – in February 2025.
