川端/一永
カワバタクリニック院長。医学博士。1959年大阪市生まれ。大阪大学大学院医学研究科博士課程修了。同大学医学部麻酔学教室を経て94年、大阪府吹田市にペインクリニックであるカワバタクリニックを開業。95年より痛みの補助療法としてアロマセラピーを取り入れ、97年には日本アロマセラピー学会を立ち上げる。4年間評議員長を務め、医療分野でのアロマセラピーを確立。日本におけるメディカル・アロマセラピーの先駆者として、アロマセラピーの普及に務める。現在は臨床医として日々痛みの治療を行いながら講演や執筆活動をこなしている
横山/信子
中国電力株式会社中電病院小児科部長。日本小児科学会専門医。広島県生まれ。山口大学医学部卒業後、京都市立病院、京都第二赤十字病院などの小児科を経て、現在は中国電力株式会社中電病院小児科に勤務。大学時代より「香り」に対しての興味を持ち、自らの不調の際に香りの効果を感じたことから、アロマセラピーの勉強を始める。2005年には「プロジェクトアロマ2005 in 神戸」にて、「小児科外来におけるアロマセラピーの試み」について講演。乳幼児や親子のアロマセラピーを中心に、小児科におけるアロマセラピーの発展に力を注ぐ

大阪市生まれ。大阪市立大学医学部卒業。大阪市立大学医学部第一外科を経て育和会記念病院内科副部長、老人保健施設施設長を務め、1999年に大阪府吹田市に吉井クリニックを開業。女性の健康と美容をテーマに、アロマセラピーをはじめプラセンタ療法、漢方療法、ホルモン補充療法などの補助療法を積極的に取り入れ、効果をあげている(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)
