本作は、「プレイヤーのデッキをシャッフルしない」という特徴を持つ、協力型デッキ構築ゲーム『イーオンズ・エンド』シリーズのひとつです。
プレイヤーは新たな舞台、ニュー・グレイヴホールドを守る破孔魔術師となり、《ネメシス》たちと戦います。
今回実装された「探索行」の初回は、カードに書かれたストーリーを読み進めながら戦います。
初期状態で公開されているネメシスは1体のみですが、カードに従って指定の封筒を順番に空け、より強力なネメシスに挑みます。
新たに登場する「トレジャーカード」を駆使して立ち向かいましょう。
初回探索行のクリア後は、ランダムな強敵に挑めます。
他のシリーズを追加すれば、より多くの組み合わせも楽しめます。
また、本作にはネメシスカード1種、呪文カード3種、宝石カード1種が追加できる、プロモーションカード27枚も同梱されています。
