"Empire's End" is a game where players aim for victory by repeatedly competing in auctions with other players.
Each player takes on the role of an emperor of an empire on the verge of collapse, facing battles to protect their territories from disasters and conflicts.
Each round, an auction is held where players spend resources to protect the 11 placed territory tiles from disasters or to win direct conflicts.
Players who lose the auction are considered to have suffered a disaster, and their territories will gradually fall into ruin.
Disasters ruin territory tiles, making them unable to earn victory points or resources, but
these ruined territory tiles can not only be restored by spending materials but also offer a chance to acquire innovation abilities.
Furthermore, in addition to auctions each round, players can spend resources to play disaster cards from their hand to
acquire innovation abilities that come with points and bonuses, strengthening the empire's economy and industry.
The game's progression changes significantly depending on the player's strategy, such as how they choose to develop their territories, which auctions they focus on, and which auctions they compromise on.
And the player with the highest victory points at the end of the game wins.
