Angelo De Augustine's highly anticipated 5th album! Angelo De Augustine's fifth album, "Angelin Plain Clothes," is his most personal and emotional work to date, depicting a process of rebirth after illness. With themes of life's fragility and new beginnings, the delicate and beautiful melodies and poetic lyrics leave a deep resonance.
He wrote, composed, recorded, arranged, produced, and mixed the entire album himself in his own studio, "A Secret Place," in Southern California. This is also his first work in recent years to feature external collaborators, including strings arranger Oliver Hill (Kevin Morby, Helado Negro), harpist Leng Bian, backing vocalist and percussionist Wendy Fraser, producer Thomas Bartlett (who also worked on St. Vincent and Bebel Gilberto, in addition to this album), and Jonathan Wilson (Angel Olsen, Father John Misty) as co-producer on "The Cure."
Through a diverse range of songs, from psychedelic country to serene ballads, he portrays a strong will to "live again." This is an album that marks a new pinnacle in his career, with themes of hope and regeneration.
