To extend the life of your fountain, pump maintenance is essential. It is recommended to clean the pump every 4-6 weeks by following the steps below.Cleaning Step 1: Remove the pump cover. Step 2: Place your fingernail under the pointed end of the impeller cap and pull it off. Step 3: Remove the impeller and clean the parts with soap and warm water.If the pump stops working, it is almost certain that the impeller's rotation is blocked by debris trapped in the impeller well. In this case, simply clean the inside using a toothpick or Q-tip.If the pump still does not work after cleaning, try pushing the propeller out a few millimeters. It will work again (the rotating white propeller part may be too close to the wall and appear to be jammed).If the problem is not resolved after trying all of the above methods, please contact us for support.
