In 2022, Alice celebrated its 50th anniversary and planned a tour titled “ALICE 10 YEARS 2023 ~PAGE 1~” to verify their albums 『ALICE I』~『ALICE X』, which span from their debut until their hiatus, over 10 years together with fans, under the concept of “ALICE SDGs”.
However, that dream was not realized, and the 『ALICE GREAT 50』 held at Ariake Arena in November 2022 marked the last stage performance with the three members of Alice.
Subsequently, in response to many fans’ voices, preparations have been underway to hold a memorial concert as Alice around the first anniversary of Shinji Tanimura’s passing (October 8).
A special concert synchronizing the voices and videos of Takao Horiuchi, Tohru Yazawa, and Shinji Tanimura has been scheduled to be held at Nippon Budokan and Osaka Castle Hall, both venues filled with memories.
This release is part of a special project to commemorate Shinji Tanimura, following the reissue of 10 works from 『ALICE I』~『ALICE X』 released on June 26, and coincides with the concert at Budokan on September 18, featuring five of their live recordings newly remastered.
Their powerful live performances allow listeners to enjoy the evolution of songs originally released on their albums, a unique feature of live recordings.
Experience the energy of Tanimura, Horiuchi, and Yazawa revived through the latest remastered sound.
As part of the Shinji Tanimura memorial special project, a legendary live recording from August 31, 1981, at Korakuen Stadium—the final performance of their last tour after announcing a hiatus—featuring many hit songs, will be released.
This album, delivered with the latest remastered sound, includes liner notes and is a 2-disc SHM-CD set. Bonus track includes “Alice Final Message - 10 Years of Trajectory”.
