For example, when polishing iron, during the stubborn red rust stage, treat it to some extent with steel wool, coarse sandpaper, or chemical reactions, then finish with a coarse buff and red stick until the rust disappears, followed by fine and blue sticks for mirror finishing.
The coarse felt buff has rough fibers that produce polishing marks, so the mirror finishing stage should be done with a fine, soft, and thin fiber buff and blue stick.
Since the fibers of the fine buff are thin and soft, it is less durable compared to the coarse buff.
How carefully you use the fine buff at critical stages affects the quality of the finish and also helps conserve the fine buff.

If the speed is too fast, the amount of dust will increase, and there is a risk of causing the workpiece to overheat and discolor.
