Teruhide Kato, born 1936～2015Teruhide Kato studied at Kyoto Art College and was a renowned kimono fashion designer. At the age of 50, he decided to pursue his true passion and became a traditional Kyoto woodblock artist. Success continued to follow him. After a gallery exhibition in New York and the publication of a book of his works titled "Kyoto Romance," he achieved the same level of fame as a woodblock artist as he had as a kimono designer.
