【藍染とは】
藍はとても繊細です。絶えず藍の色を出すための条件を保たなければなりません。
石灰や糖分を加えたり、また気温が下がれば温めたりもする。まるで生き物のように気を配り工夫を凝らします。
上質の藍染をする為には水質も大切です。
当社の水は、吉野川北岸、地下80mの深層より汲みあげた地下水を使用しています。
染めては洗い、洗っては染める。藍をたてた藍液に繰り返し侵し良質の水で水洗することで、
あざやかな深みのある藍色をつくり出すことができます。
