【The Original Zeppelin Floating on the Lake】On July 2, 1900, the Zeppelin LZ1 was floated from a hangar on Lake Constance in Germany. It is the predecessor of Zeppelin airships, culminating in the Hindenburg disaster in 1937. It was also the first successful rigid airship with an aluminum frame covered in fabric. Rigid airships are characterized by their large size. The total length of LZ1 was 128 meters. It was assembled inside the lake-side hangar, and the assembly platform was used as a raft to tow LZ1 by boat, allowing it to exit the hangar.
