**Overview**
The two characters are back—Hiroshi Tate as the dandy Takayama, and Kyohei Shibata as the sexy Ooshita, U-J. The legendary "Abunai Deka" began 38 years ago. As a buddy cop drama, it set many records, with the highest TV ratings reaching 26.4%! Filming in Yokohama often had to be halted due to crowds, creating a social phenomenon. The popularity of "Abunai Deka" extended beyond the TV series into movies, with the first theatrical film "Abunai Deka" becoming a huge hit. Followed by "Mata Mata," "Mottomo," "Returns," "Forever THE MOVIE," and "Mada Mada," the series concluded with the nostalgic "Sarabaa Abunai Deka" in 2016.
However, in 2024, with this eighth installment, the series makes a grand comeback after 8 years, crossing the eras of Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa. It surpasses the previous box office, becoming a big hit again! The main cast includes Hiroshi Tate and Kyohei Shibata, along with Atsuko Asano as Kaoru, Tōru Machida as Tōru, and other familiar members. The heroine is Tao Tsuchiya. New guest stars include Michiko Kichise, Goro Kishitani, Nene Nishi, Taichi Saotome, and others.
The new "Abunai Deka" that inherits 38 years of history and portrays the Reiwa era is directed by Hiroshi Hara, affiliated with "BABEL LABEL." Under his leadership, a young team has challenged the legend to create a new "Abunai Deka."
