Since it is shielded, it is less likely for dirt and foreign objects to enter. When attaching to the pawing cup side and cast control, insert a large O-ring between the reel body and the bearing. For models with a spool bearing, use a small O-ring. Normally, bearings are 4mm thick, but twin bearings are 3mm thick, so an O-ring increases thickness by 1mm.
