The original work is a powerful youth novel written by Kazuma Hayami, who received the 68th Japan Mystery Writers Association Award for "Innocent Days," his first work after receiving the award, with great passion. It depicts the passionate story of high school students who defied the societal system created by adults, protecting what is important, and rushing through Shibuya in 1995, adapted into a drama. The lead actor is Kaito Takahashi, active as a member of King & Prince. Co-starring are Taishi Nakagawa, Honoka Matsumoto, Kaho Hosoda, Kouta Inukai, and Mandy Sekiguchi. The screenplay was written by Kohei Kiyan, who won the 36th Japan Academy Prize for Excellent Screenplay for the film "Kirishima, Stop the Club" (2013). The director is Hideki Jōdō, who directed films such as "The Edge of the Alps Stand" (2020) and "I Want to Be Killed by a High School Girl" (2022). The music is by Gary Ashiya, active in movies and TV dramas. The work depicts the energetic world of the 90s, including fashion, music, manga, dramas, pagers, and phone cards that were popular around 1995, evoking nostalgia for adults who were high school students at the time, and feeling fresh to modern youth who do not know that era.
