**About the Work**
This is a continuous drama commemorating the 60th anniversary of TV Tokyo, starring Kaito Takahashi in his first appearance and first lead role on the channel.
The original work is a powerful youth novel written with the utmost passion by Kazuma Hayami, who won the 68th Japan Mystery Writers Association Award for "Innocent Days," as his first work after receiving the award.
The story depicts high school students who, in 1995, run desperately through Shibuya, fighting against the societal structures created by adults, while protecting what they cherish.
The lead actor, Kaito Takahashi, is making his first appearance and first starring role in a TV Tokyo drama. Besides being active as a member of King & Prince, he has had consecutive film releases and is expanding his acting career with three consecutive starring roles in dramas.
Takahashi plays the role of Aki Hiroshige (Hiroshige Akihisa), a high school student who passionately lived through the era of 1995.
During a job interview with a karaoke company about "30 years of Japan's music industry," he is asked about his high school days, and he becomes confused.
Memories of "that incident" from 29 years ago, which changed his life, suddenly come flooding back.
On March 20, 1995, Akihisa (Kaito Takahashi), a top student with good conduct, faces the aftermath of the Tokyo subway sarin attack and is shaken.
He questions whether the world will truly end.
While overwhelmed by unexplainable emotions, he is suddenly called by his charismatic classmate Shōtarō Suzuki (Daisuke Nakagawa), whom he had never spoken to before.
"Are you satisfied just drifting into adulthood and drifting toward death?"
Encouraged by these feelings, he is forcibly brought into a team (group of friends) consisting of Marco (Kao Toda), Leo (Kaito Inu), and Doyon (Mendy Sekiguchi).
Meanwhile, Akihisa's gaze meets Seira Kishi (Honoka Matsumoto), who has a mysterious charm.
This is an intense youth story of boys who, sometimes straying from the path, run through the chaotic and feverish year of 1995, following their hearts!
