The Limited Express Super Hakucho, operated by the 789 series, was jointly developed with Danish State Railways. Its distinctive "Moegi-iro" (light green) body evokes the rich natural landscape of Hokkaido. This work follows Super Hakucho No. 26 from Hakodate to Shin-Aomori, a connecting station with the Tohoku Shinkansen. Departing from the charming city of Hakodate, Super Hakucho travels along the Kaikyo Line and enters the Seikan Tunnel, Japan's longest. While experiencing its impressive length, it passes through the undersea stations of Yoshioka-Kaitei and Tappi-Kaitei before finally emerging onto Honshu. Upon entering the JR East section, it runs along Mutsu Bay, and then arrives in Aomori while you enjoy the peaceful rural scenery. The train changes direction at Aomori Station, and the section to Shin-Aomori will be a rearward view. This is a work full of the appeal of the Limited Express "Super Hakucho," a symbol of the connection between Hokkaido and Honshu, with views of the Hokkaido Shinkansen construction along the line.
