This product is a set of hanging scrolls for the principal image and attendant images of the Jodo Shinshu Hongwanji school, and a scroll stand to hang them.
The Kakejiku Jōshinkane is a Japanese-made hanging scroll.
A paper depicting the Buddha, called the "honshi," is pasted onto thick paper, and the surrounding area is decorated with red and purple cloth. Metal fittings are attached to the wooden scroll at the bottom to complete it. Each one is handmade in Kyoto.
The principal image, Amida Nyorai, is hung and enshrined in the center of the upper tier of the Buddhist altar.
Shinran Shonin (right) is the founder of Jodo Shinshu and is hung and enshrined on the upper tier of the Buddhist altar, to the right as you face it.
Rennyo Shonin (left) is the restorer who spread Jodo Shinshu throughout the country and is hung and enshrined on the upper tier of the Buddhist altar, to the left as you face it.

[Precautions for Handling and Care]
Gently dust with a soft brush or brush with soft bristles, or a soft, dry cloth.
Using a wet cloth may cause discoloration of the dampened area.
Also, please handle with care to avoid folding or rolling it. (Creases and wrinkles will remain.)
