This heater can be used up to 600°C. The heater is a product where a high-temperature heating element is precisely printed on an alumina substrate with excellent heat resistance and electrical insulation, and integrally molded with the lead section. It allows for space-saving heating. Because it is a planar heating element, it can uniformly heat the object to be heated.

The capacity is a value at room temperature and will change with increasing temperature. When using, please refer to the resistance change characteristics.
[Precautions for Use]
When using in contact with the object to be heated, be sure to absorb warping of the object to be heated due to heat with cushioning insulation material (such as ceramic fiber blanket). (Refer to the included instruction manual.)
Heating and cooling operate in a short time. We recommend a usage method with gradual heating and cooling speeds to avoid stressing the heater, surrounding parts, and insulators. (An ideal heating speed is 100°C/min, and a cooling speed is 200°C/min or less.)
When heating from below room temperature or from a low-temperature atmosphere, the heater resistance value decreases, increasing the capacity density. Applying the rated voltage may cause the heater to break. Please use a voltage regulator or similar device to gradually increase the voltage from a low voltage for heating.
The thermal shock resistance of the alumina substrate (how much it can withstand rapid temperature changes) is approximately 200°C. Please be careful not to create rapid and large temperature differences on the heater surface.
Please use an AC power source.
When controlling temperature, we recommend the SCR-SHQ-A2 temperature controller. This unit also supports slope control.
The heat resistance temperature of the polyimide tube is 300°C or less. If using at temperatures above 300°C, remove the polyimide tube and replace it with a separately sold insulator.
