小型軽量で高性能な空戦戦闘機として誕生し、段階的な改良により強力な多用途戦闘機へと進化を遂げたのがアメリカ空軍のF-16です。その中でも1991年に登場したブロック50は推力を一段と向上させたF110-GE-129エンジンを搭載。さらに高速対レーダーミサイルHARMの運用能力を備えたタイプはF-16CJと名付けられ、敵防空レーダーの制圧任務が可能となりました。1998年からはCCIPと呼ばれる仕様共通化プログラムが開始され、夜間作戦能力も獲得するなど運用の柔軟性が大幅に高まっています。F-16CJブロック50をフル装備仕様で再現したプラスチックモデル組み立てキットです。1/72スケール、全長213mm、全幅141mm。空力的に洗練されたスタイルをリアルにモデル化。精密感と組み立てやすさをバランス良く両立させました。CCIP改修機が装備するスナイパーXRポッドや、コクピット前方のIFFアンテナも忠実に再現。AIM-120CやAIM-9M/Xなどの空対空ミサイルに加え、HARMミサイル、ECMポッドや2種類の増加タンクなどアクセサリーも豊富にセット。
