Master Yendo (right) was a Chinese monk who taught the foundational teachings of the Jodo sect, and is enshrined on the right side of the upper tier of the altar.

The acacia wood used for the wall color has a deep hue, and is a popular wood used in furniture and wooden tableware.
The tamo wood used for the light color features a distinct and beautiful grain, and is a valuable wood also used in high-end furniture.
