A set of 5 figures, reproduced in 1/35 scale, of Japan Ground Self-Defense Force personnel dispatched to Iraq.
The figures, wearing bulletproof vests, are realistically modeled in dynamic poses.
The set includes a commander, a leader reporting the situation, two soldiers on guard holding an Type 89 5.56mm assault rifle, and a machine gunner standing in the turret on the roof of the Light Armored Vehicle.
Equipment such as two types of ammunition pouches, goggles, a microphone, a transceiver, and a radiation detector are also sharply rendered.
Parts for the 110mm recoilless rifle, carried depending on the situation, are also included.
The Japanese flag, a characteristic of personnel dispatched to Iraq, is provided as a slide mark.
**About Uniforms:**
For the Iraq dispatch unit, camouflage uniforms similar to those used domestically are worn to identify them as Japan Ground Self-Defense Force personnel, and bulletproof vests with enhanced ballistic protection are worn over them.
Equipment is attached directly to the webbing of the bulletproof vests, and the Japanese flag is prominently displayed.
