タミヤ 1/700 ウォーターラインシリーズ No.316 日本海軍 軽巡洋艦 球磨 プラモデル 31316 戦艦を海戦の主役とする大艦巨砲主義。この思想に基づき、日本海軍は戦艦8隻と巡洋戦艦8隻を中心とした八・八艦隊と呼ばれる世界最強の艦隊を作る計画をたてました。この艦隊に加わって主力艦を援護する5500トン級軽巡洋艦球磨型の1番艦として、大正9年に竣工した球磨のプラスチックモデル組み立てキットです。モデルは昭和14年から15年の姿で再現、丸みのある艦首や直立した3本の煙突、シンプルな艦橋、そして14cm単装砲など大正時代の日本軽巡洋艦の典型と言われるスタイルをあますところなく再現しました。舷消磁電路や錨鎖など船体のモールドもシャープな仕上がり。マストなどに手を加えて開戦時の状態に改造するのも興味深いでしょう。完成時の全長230mm。
