タミヤ 31114 WL 日本戦艦 武蔵 （むさし）大和型戦艦の2番艦として、そして日本海軍が建造した最後の戦艦として昭和13年に起工した武蔵のプラスチックモデル組み立てキットです。昭和17年8月の竣工時の姿を忠実にモデル化。舷側の装甲帯など細部も精密に再現しました。さらに後部のボート格納庫の側面は別パーツとし立体感を高めます。そして見どころは世界最強といわれる兵装類。各砲身を別パーツとした3連装46cm主砲塔は、基部の防水布までシャープに再現。さらに15.5cm副砲や12.7cm高角砲がその強力な攻撃力を伝えます。測距儀や方位探知機なども立体感あふれる仕上がり。主砲塔や副砲塔、測距儀はポリキャップを使用し回転できます。完成時の全長375mm。
