This is a plastic model assembly kit of the Imperial Japanese Navy battleship Yamato, which was completed in December 1941. It was equipped with nine 46cm guns, boasting a standard displacement of 64,000 tons and a maximum range of 41km, and incorporated numerous innovative shipbuilding technologies and production management methods. This model recreates its final appearance as it headed for Okinawa, based on the latest research. The voluminous hull realistically reproduces the flare of the bow and the armor belt on the sides. The main gun turrets are set with each gun barrel as a separate part. Armaments such as the 15.5cm secondary guns, 12.7cm anti-aircraft guns, and anti-aircraft machine guns strengthened in preparation for intensified aerial attacks, along with finely detailed parts like rangefinders, direction finders, and jib cranes, enhance Yamato's formidable style. The completed length is 375mm.
