KATO Unitrack System. Elevated curved track with guards on both sides of a single track. This is a curved track with a radius of 282mm and an angle of 45°. Comes in a set of 2 (equivalent to 90°). 8 pieces (4 sets) are required to create a circular (endless) layout. S-joiners allow for secure connection between elevated tracks or with piers. Can also be connected with other Unitrack tracks (ground tracks can be connected using sets like the Gradient Pier Basic Set). Unitrack curved tracks are based on the R315 curved track (centerline radius 315mm), and there are main line curved tracks with different radii on the inner and outer sides, with a double-track spacing of 33mm. R282-45° is a curved track that can form a circle with a centerline radius of 282mm when 8 pieces are used, making it a single inner track compared to the standard R315 double track.
* Vehicles with limited cornering ability, such as Shinkansen trains, may derail. Please check the minimum running radius for your rolling stock before use.
* If single elevated curved tracks are connected before and after a truss bridge, contact with the bridge may occur depending on the type of rolling stock. In such cases, please install a single elevated straight track between the truss bridge and the single elevated curved track.
