● Do not leave food in paper suki nabe or aluminum suki nabe for a long time after setting. The food in the paper suki nabe will dry out and stick to the bottom, causing it to burn. The contact point between the food and the aluminum in the aluminum suki nabe will weaken, potentially causing small holes.
● When setting the paper suki nabe on the stove, be careful not to tilt it. Set the solid fuel in the center of the stove.
● The amount of dashi broth should be 2/3 or more of the total volume when ingredients are added.
● Mochi and udon cannot be used in paper suki nabe as they tend to stick to the bottom and burn the paper. If using tofu, place vegetables underneath.
● For both paper suki nabe and aluminum suki nabe, use solid fuel of 25g or less. Paper suki nabe: The fire will become larger and may cause burning. Aluminum suki nabe: The strong heat may cause incomplete combustion of the solid fuel, leading to eye irritation.
● When using aluminum suki nabe in winter, if you set cold dashi broth, condensation (water droplets) may form on the outside of the aluminum suki nabe, and if the flame from the solid fuel hits it, incomplete combustion may occur, leading to eye irritation. Please use warm dashi broth as much as possible.
● Be careful not to wet the outside of the paper suki nabe or aluminum suki nabe with water. Also, completely drain the water from the receiving net so as not to wet the paper suki nabe, etc.
