Walnut, which is popular for furniture, is a durable wood with grain and color that humans feel most familiar with.
Using this walnut, the final process that determines the quality of the Buddhist altar is also finished by domestic craftsmen, maximizing the texture (grain, etc.) of the walnut and creating a calm color tone.

Shizuoka Prefecture began with lacquerware production in the Edo period, and Western furniture production began in the mid-Meiji period.
Buddhist altars began to be manufactured as a derivative of furniture in the Showa era, and production has been active to this day, similar to furniture.

Gratia II, with its simple construction, pays attention to the details, with softly rounded corners, even coating tailored to each piece of wood, and carefully crafted plump board thickness and curves.
