This year, Fumi Itakura, who remastered and re-released the soundtracks for 'Tugumi' and 'Company Story' he worked on, has collaborated with his ally Ma*To, with whom he has produced many works including CHAKRA and KILLING TIME, to provide music for the new film "[Mado] MADO". Recently, a soundtrack album containing those songs has been released. The film "[Mado] MADO" is the directorial debut of Ma*To's son, Ma*To. The title song is "Mado" (lyrics: Junko Kudo, composition: Ma*To, vocals: Mito Ogawa), which has been familiar since childhood. The music was composed by Fumi Itakura, and this passionate collaboration was realized. Despite being a past work, the album features songs that perfectly match each scene. Many of the tracks are recorded for the first time, making it a new collection of works by Fumi Itakura and Ma*To. The title track "Mado" was included in Mito Ogawa's 1991 album "4to3". In the movie, the original sound source is used, but the soundtrack includes a newly recorded version! The 16-page booklet contains comments from the creators for each song. Mito Ogawa also comments on "Mado".
