This year, Fumiya Itakura's soundtracks for "Tsumi" and "Kaisha Monogatari" were remastered and reissued.
Fumiya Itakura provided music for the new film "[MADO] MADO" with his close friend Ma*To, with whom he has worked on many projects since CHAKRA and KILLING TIME. The soundtrack album featuring this music will now be released.
The film "[MADO] MADO" is the directorial debut of Mao, Ma*To's son. This collaboration was realized from the strong desire to have "Mado" (lyrics: Junko Kudo, music: Ma*To, vocals: Miyoshi Ogawa), which he had been familiar with since childhood, as the title track, and Fumiya Itakura as the composer. Although these are past works, the songs perfectly fit each scene. Many of these songs are being recorded for the first time, and it can be said to be a collection of new works by Fumiya Itakura and Ma*To.
The title track "Mado" is an album track from Miyoshi Ogawa's 1991 album "4to3". While the original recording is used in the film, the soundtrack album includes newly recorded versions!
The 16-page booklet includes comments from the creators for each song. Miyoshi Ogawa also provides a comment for "Mado".
