He began seriously studying folk songs at the age of 4 and started playing the shamisen in the second grade of elementary school. He won the junior division, first division, and second division of the Donan Kokusetsu-bushi National Competition in 2009, 2011, and 2015, respectively. He won various awards, including winning the second and third divisions of the All Osaka Minyo Junior Festival National Competition in 2012 and 2015. While appearing on TV programs such as NHK's "NHK Nodo Jiman," TV Tokyo's "Karaoke Battle," and Fuji TV's "Mirai☆Monster," he moved to Tokyo in 2016. He began lessons under composer Tetsuya Tsurugi.
