This album fully captures the live performance at CLUB CITTA' in 1993! After releasing three original albums in 1991, Naked Rallizes resumed live activities in 1993, returning to the stage for the first time since 1988. Following their comeback live at Boush Theater on February 13, their performance at CLUB CITTA' on the 17th, just four days later, became one of the most notable performances in Rallizes history and is still spoken of as legendary. The guitar volume, surpassing their previous loudness, shook the venue’s doors and was so intense that some audience members evacuated to the lobby.
This astonishing performance, which shook all of the audience’s senses, was recorded with an 8-channel digital recorder.
In this release, the multi-track recordings, kept secretly for nearly 30 years, have been reconstructed with additional venue recordings. The mixing, crafted with dedication by Makoto Kubota, recreates the "something beyond roar" that resonated that night as an album. You can experience the Rallizes sound that has never been heard before.
The performers on the day were Takashi Mizutani (Vo, G), Katsuhiko Ishii (G), Yōkai Takahashi (B), and Yukimichi Noma (Dr). The jacket artwork features photographs taken by Takeshi Nakato.
Includes liner notes by Shinya Matsuyama, housed in a paper jacket.
