Detailed Description
The master, the third Koenji Shincho, who sadly passed away at the young age of 63 in 2001. This work is the upper volume of the "Koenji Shincho Complete Works," which gathers his masterpieces based on valuable footage from TBS "Rakugo Research Society." The volume includes 8 DVDs with a total of 871 minutes of main content, satisfying even enthusiastic rakugo fans. The recorded performances include all 22 stories such as his favorites "Bunshichi Motzuo," "Kazan Taiko," "Atago-yama," "Su Tofu," and "Hyakunen-me." The expressions and gestures that could only be imagined from the CD are clearly visible on DVD. The charm of Shincho, a true Edoite, with stylish Edo dialect, witty and elegant storytelling, and perfect timing, is all packed into this DVD box.
