**Explanation**
Through the unconventional activities of the examiner Yoshio Kuraishi, the human drama "Rinjo" depicts the "heart" through the "cases" and moves the viewers' souls. This highly popular drama, based on Hideo Yokoyama's works such as "Hanjūchi" and "Climber's High," continued to receive requests for a sequel even after the series ended. It is now being released as a comprehensive work that "gathers everything" that could not be done within the TV frame.
A sudden indiscriminate street mugging incident occurred, but the perpetrator was found not guilty under Article 39 of the Penal Code. Over the following two years, during the investigation of a series of murders, Kuraishi touches the hearts of many people involved in the case...

**Story**
A series of indiscriminate street mugging incidents occur in Tokyo. However, the perpetrator is found not guilty due to insanity, despite the wishes of the victims' families. Two years later, the lawyer who led the case to acquittal and the doctor who conducted the psychiatric evaluation are murdered one after another.
A joint investigation headquarters of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police and Kanagawa Prefectural Police is established, and suspicion falls on the families of the mugging incident from two years ago.
"I’m different from him..." Kuraishi questions the time of death and suspects that the real culprit is someone else. What is the truth that he uncovers along the way?
