This is the story of "God's Song Conductor Polyphonica," which started with the tale of the young man Foron, aspiring to become a divine music performer, and his contracted spirit, Corticarte. Based on this world setting, a new work titled "God's Song Conductor Polyphonica THE BLACK" features a new protagonist and characters. It was released as a GA Bunko publication in June 2006 and became a huge hit! To date, it has nine volumes.

This digital novel is a prequel to the novel version, depicting the encounter between the heroine Matia and her contracted spirit Managa with full voice acting!!

＜Prologue＞

The story begins with the meeting of the divine music performer Matia and the spirit Managa—two episodes.

■ Episode 1

On Flight 231 of the New Imperial Capital Air, the plane crashes—rescuing the girl Matia from the tragedy was the bulky spirit Managa.
Thanks to the precise treatment by the female surgeon Tigrea, Matia survives, but her heart is closed off.
Through Managa’s clumsy yet sincere response, Matia gradually opens her heart.
When she learns that she will be sent to a facility in 180 days, Managa makes a certain decision.

■ Episode 2

Three years after the passenger plane crash, Matia has become a police officer alongside Managa.
Despite being still a girl, her wit helps solve major cases through teamwork with Managa, and they are assigned to the Spirit Division.

At that time, by chance, they meet street children, Shereka.
Knowing that Matia and Managa are police officers, Shereka desperately pleads,
"Help Papa!"

Both works share almost the same world view and era, with characters appearing mutually in the novel versions.
The 2007 TV anime "God's Song Conductor Polyphonica" features guest appearances by characters from "THE BLACK."
The time period of "Episode 1" in this work corresponds to several years before the sister characters Yugiri visit the academy in Episode 0 of "God's Song Conductor Polyphonica."

＜Prologue＞

After graduating high school, the protagonist Tomoya Okazaki starts working at a junk collection shop on the outskirts of town and begins living alone, enjoying daily life with his girlfriend, Tomoyo Sakagami.

One day, Tomoya’s younger brother Takafumi brings home a girl named "Tomo."
Takafumi reveals shocking facts—Tomo is his half-sister, and he brought her here suddenly because she came to meet their father.
Tomoyo is stunned. The situation becomes even more serious as it appears Tomo’s mother abandoned her.
The three of them resolve to accept Tomo, prepared for the challenge.

As summer vacation approaches, Takafumi’s old girlfriend, Kanako, a junior of Tomoyo, runs away from home and crashes into their apartment!

Thus begins the summer for Tomoya, Tomoyo, Tomo, Takafumi, and Kanako.
The first and last summer they spend together.
