Synopsis:
Koichi, Taisuke, and Shizuna are the children of "Ariake," a Western restaurant in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
One night, while they were out of the house to watch a meteor shower, their parents were murdered with a knife by an unknown assailant.
Orphaned and having spent their childhood in an orphanage, Shizuna was scammed, leading them to eventually start committing fraud themselves to survive, deceiving wealthy men.
Fourteen years have passed since the incident, and as the statute of limitations approaches, the three target Yukinari Togami, the heir to a Western restaurant chain.
They notice that Yukinari's father, Masayuki, resembles the person seen leaving their house at the time of their parents' brutal murder.
Convinced that Masayuki murdered their parents and stole the recipe, based on the taste of the restaurant's signature Hayashi Rice, they approach Yukinari and set a trap to bring Masayuki down.
The plan proceeds smoothly, but Shizuna develops feelings for Yukinari.
From the beginning, intricate foreshadowing is laid out, and as they corner Masayuki, the unexpected truth of the incident is revealed.
