The fabric used is 100% pure silk kimono fabric. Pure silk is excellent at absorbing and releasing moisture, making it a highly suitable material for storing violins, which are sensitive to humidity changes.The sewing is entirely by hand, supervised by a skilled kimono seamstress, applying traditional kimono tailoring techniques to gently envelop the instrument.
