ふんわり微風のような歌声にほのぼの。切ないウクレレの音色にホロリ。やっぱり、うららかさんの曲は春から初夏がよく似合うなぁ。オリジナル・フル・アルバムとしては前作『BALANCO』から約1年ぶり、話題性も盛りだくさんの4作目です。シングル曲(12)と新曲(3)はスウェーデン録音で、トーレ・ヨハンソンのプロデュース。3曲ともゴージャスなストリングスやホーンがフィーチャーされていて、ぐっとトーンを抑えた低音で唄いはじめる(1)は、とくにトーレ色が濃い感じ。ハッピーで無敵な恋力全開の(3)や、前作から引き続き根岸孝旨が手がけた(4)~(11)の流れと比べると、意見が分かれそうなところ。サウンド面での新しい試みという点でいけば、ムード歌謡調の(10)の方が彼女の雰囲気に合っている気がするけれど。とはいえ、(1)~(3)を1枚のマキシと考えて、それが1枚のアルバムにパッケージされたと思えば、かなりのお得盤と言えましょう。もちろん、映画『猫の恩返し』主題歌の(9)も収録されてますよ~。 (岩田祐未子) --- 2003年06月号 -- 内容 (「CDジャーナル・レビュー」
