[Synopsis]
Subaru Tendou (Ren Nagase) is the heir to "Fukuten," a giant apparel manufacturer with total assets of 300 billion yen. Having lost his parents at an early age, he was raised spoiled by his grandfather, Chairman Wataru Tendou (Joji Hashi). He is a born rich kid with outstanding looks, but on the other hand, his personality is full of flaws, and he is extremely conceited. His only confidant and best friend, Tomoya Kusakabe (Daigo Nishihata), has co-founded two businesses with him, backed by Wataru's substantial investment, but both have failed. After his third venture, which was ridiculed by those around him as a "plaything," also goes bankrupt due to his lack of business plans and management strategies, Wataru finally gives him an ultimatum: to get a connection-based job at "Fukuten" and start over from his first year as a working adult. On his first day at work, dressed in his usual high-end casual wear, Subaru attends the new employee training session, still not out of his celebrity mindset. He draws the attention of all the employees, and the women flutter around him, already overconfident that it's due to his handsome appearance. Just then, his tutor, Madoka Hanakura (Mizuki Yamashita), approaches him and dismisses his outfit as "uncool" for not being appropriate for the occasion. Humiliated and forced to change into a company's outdated suit, Subaru becomes increasingly irritated, thinking that even teachers have never scolded him... That night, as ordered by Wataru, Subaru moves into a rundown apartment in the company dormitory and struggles with his first experience of living as a commoner. Trying to distract himself by listening to loud music, the resident of the next room bursts in angrily. It's Madoka, who had reprimanded him earlier that day!
